Hotel Alveri - Mestre

Our family had a wonderful time during our 2-night stay while visiting Venice. The hotel’s proximity to the bus stop made day trips to Venice super easy, and we bought our bus tickets right at the front desk. We loved the comfortable beds and the clean room. The added bonus of a balcony where we could enjoy our morning coffee. Breakfast was a real treat. For just a few euros, we enjoyed a good spread that fueled our days of exploring.

Convenient Stay for Exploring Venice

Comfortable family accommodations with friendly staff. Enjoyed the lovely breakfast offered, which gave a great start to our days. The on-site bartender made a fabulous spritz that was a good treat. For those venturing out, check the bus schedule early as the service changes in the evening!

Hotel Alveri was great with its really good breakfast spread, with a good assortment of fresh pastries, fruits, and local delicacies that started my mornings on a high note.

Bus to Venice leaves only every half hour; last bus leaves at 19:30. No infrastructure (restaurants, shops) near the hotel

Spacious room with great free wi-fi. Parking was easy, but late arrivals could be tricky.

Breakfast was ok. Staff was nice, about 15 minutes by bus to Venice. Tickets are available at the reception for 1.5 €

It is new and clean

Staff people in reception is not friendly and helpful at all. We ask for bus information and they just told us that crossing the street was a bus stop. But they don't give information about schedules or try to help, we were 45 min. waiting for the bus and when finally went back to hotel to request a bus schedule we realized that on Sundays, buses run every hour!! we waste precious time.

The staff was always cute and friendly .

The location was quite challenging, especially at night. After 6-7 pm, the bus service became far from the hotel. I felt uneasy walking back, as the area seemed a bit dodgy, which overshadows the overall experience.

One word to describe Hotel Alveri: fabulous:-) They really treat you well here, staff is very friedly and helpful, hotel is located just 10 minutes away from Venice. I would definetly recommend this hotel.

Very good breakfast! Located between the train stations Mestre and Porta Maghera (about 10min walking distance) in an industrial area. Bus stop (also served in the evening) directly in front of the door. Own parking lot. Many restaurants near the train station Mestre.
